It was fine weather again for our last morning in Burleigh Heads. We went for a walk and, being that it was a Saturday, there was much more activity along the Promenade; they were yoga classes on the go, exercise classes with bucket challenges and people having barbecues. Burleigh has a lovely vibe and I could easily live here.

We ended up getting away from the apartment by 10 am and headed towards Lennox Heads to have breakfast at a place where we stopped last time we were up here; at a cafe called Shelter. We just scraped in for the breakfast menu and had a nice meal as we looked out over the water.

From there it was back to South West Rocks for the night and it was basically a repeat performance of our trip up, the same motel, the same motel dinner and the same sunset walk with evening drink at the Surf club. The next day was pretty much the same as well with a morning walk before heading back home to Bondi.

It was a great trip and I am already planning a return visit to Burleigh Heads!
