Noosa: Last few days

Wednesday 24th March

The weather had cleared a bit and so the boys were able to get out on a bike ride. The girls and I had another session at Noosa Flow, this time it was yoga and it was great.

We all headed out at about 10 am to go to Eumundi markets and we realise that Wednesday at Eumundi markets is not as busy and active as a Saturday market.
Tom was arriving into the Sunshine Coast at 2 pm so Mark and I detoured on the way home to collect him from the airport. He was staying at 10 Hasting Street, in a one bedroom motel room, just down the road from our place so it was quite convenient.
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky by the afternoon and so we all headed down for a beach swim, and this was followed by a dip in the pool for some, before we all got ready to head out for our dinner at Miss Moneypenny’s.
Brett was not feeling 100% after his Eumundi market lunch and so he didn’t make it to Miss Moneypenny’s but he didn’t miss much because the music was a little too loud and the food was only ordinary. It was a lovely evening though great weather and nice to have most of the family together.

Thursday 25th March

It was a beautiful morning for my birthday, not a cloud in the sky and no wind. We weren’t able to raise Tom for the walking part of our first outing but he and Brett joined us for coffee and then a beach swim.
We’d heard good things about the recently renovated Sunshine Beach Surf club so we headed there for a late brunch and were not disappointed. Then it was back to the Villa for some relaxing time by the pool and another swim.
Dinner was at Sails which was pleasant but probably not as good as our home cooked meals. We stopped off at Copenhagen for some ice cream on the way home but Tom,after having steak for dinner, chose a hot dog instead 🙁
Friday 26th March:
It was another spectacular day with glorious sunshine and it seems that the flooding rain was an eon ago now. The boys went on a bike ride and us girls had our final Noosa Flow session with a mat Pilates class at 8 am. Our breakfast at Cafe Le Monde was not until 9.45 am and so this allowed us enough time to stop off a Zephyr Boutique on the way home from Pilates. I had spied this Boutique at Eumundi markets but had Mark in tow then. I bought a lovely top and will make sure I visit again when we’re back here in August!
The rest of the day was a lazy one spent at the Villa and in the pool.
